Well... Phone rang around 4:00 this afternoon with news that they had a liver for me. Yeah, ok... Let me rush there I said. Got to the hospital and got all the prep done and blood taken and then been sitting here waiting for them to send me home. Well, seems this time is the charm. Just got news that the liver is good and the transplant team is ready for me. So this is it... See you guys later

Everyone in the TOS Vets community Send Stewie some good vibes and prayers...

Doing much better.. Still a good bit of pain and swollen but it's getting better.! Doc said he's never seen a patient loose as little blood as I did. My hematocrit (blood level) need to be at least a 42 for them to the surgery. Mine was 42.2 when I went in it. I came out it was 42. They wanted it as high as possible b/c the average amount lost is around half but for me, I only lost .2! Normal the ICU stay is around four days, they are ready to get me out of here and into my own room today. So God is definitely looking over me!!! If I did have a super power it would be how fast I bounce back! I love all of you!

I think the above Facebook post from the proverbial horse's mouth says it all!
