James Duggan: Starfleet Academy Graduate Class of 2265.
Reported for duty as an Engineer assistant U.S.S Pegasus NCC-1702 in 2266.
Duggan served on many ships in an almost 30 year career in Starfleet. His last assignment was Chief Engineer U.S.S Excalibur B Under Captain Morgan West.
On an away mission conducting scientific research his shuttlecraft became disabled and caught in a blackhole's clutches. The crafty engineer was able to use what little power he had left to long range transport his junior crew members to safety. All options exhausted, he was resigned to his fate. Alone he pulled out a bottle of Bushmill's Irish Whiskey and toasted the stars... He was content. At the last second (With his demise no longer in doubt) he was rescued by temporal agents of Starfleet tasked to find capable officers from the past, who could be extracted without altering the timeline, and brought in to command ships in this grave war.
Jimmy isn't sure how he fits in this Era. He doesn't view his rescue as a second chance, to him it's more a retention of duty. He wasn't too happy that Starfleet genetically altered his DNA profile to hide the fact he is a temporal anomaly. Admiral Duggan now commands the U.S.S Gallant a retrofit Excelsior. As he explained to his crew on his assuming command. " This ship and I, we fit. We're a Wee bit of the old updated with current technology. Now lets go teach these Borg a few old tricks!!"
Duggan Likes that his current assignment allows him to lecture mini courses at the Academy. Duggan teaches course on Ancient Warp Technology and Applied Maintenance: Repairs in Combat Environments.

Anyone that drinks and has a supply of Bushmill's will never be without back up, if needed.
Talia.

Nothing wrong with a little Bushmill's
Nice bio, btw. I like how you included the genetic altering to hide the temporal anomaly
Nice idea

Can't say I've tried any of them past the green label, Guthrie, but that is a tasty picture
