Yes I think his application sounded a lot like my application. Except for picard statement… I am sure that Jean-Juke would be able to beet Jim at something… chair spinning perhaps…

UH OH i am doomed for sure hehe. I do like picard, don't get me wrong. he did take the time to weigh in all the possibilities before making any decisions in dealing with new species or a potential enemy. he introduced starfleets true ideals of diplomacy.

Yah I have come a long way, for the first 4 seasons I never watched it thinking he was a chump that was making money for the network off of something that was pure and good. Then when it lasted longer than the original series I watched it in syndication when Alf was not on. I also think Kirk would beat him at tri-leveled chess.

I practiced that stare my whole life. I guess I still do (but my wife insists it stay reserved for her - I told her it was instinctual and I have no control ... practice? Pfffft.)
