Why CBS IP management annoys me atm:
(From the November 2012 ask Cryptic):
Quote: | Q: (thmichael) Are you going to implement the Ambassador Class at some point? And would it be possible to implement the Old Constitution Class for higher ranks?
Dstahl: Yes. The Ambassador class is coming in 2013. CBS is still pretty adamant about the Old Connie not being an end game ship, but you never know what can happen as time rolls by. |

They should just give 50 of them out (only to fleet members with TOS in the fleet name )

Do you know if they've ever asked CBS about a Fleet Excelsior? Given that there were Excelsiors running around during the TNG time frame that might more doable. (It's not a Connie, but at least it's an Enterprise, if just barely, from the TOS movie era.)

Seeing as to how the K'Tinga is a TOS/Original film era ship and the Qin Raptor is a ship from frickin ENTERPRISE, I don't think that the old "it's such an old ship" excuse holds any water. Indeed, the CBS refusal is a better reason..
Which is why as time passes, I subscribe more and more to West's theory of having tier 5 Exeter, which is essentially the JJprise. With Trek 2 on the horizon, the developers would be stupid not to tie the game into the movie hype...
then again... this IS Cryptic..

Fleet Excelsior is on tribble right now, and will hopefully be coming out with the next patch.

Yes.
Oh! you want me to list them...
42900 hull, 1.1 shield mod, same stations, 4 tac consoles in place of the 3.

Thanks!
I was hoping for bit of a science BOFF increase, but that's still a nice upgrade.
